Lough Conn is the smaller of the three Western Lakes, although not as large as Mask or Corrib, it offers the same fishing conditions and oppurtunities to all Anglers. Our Season starts in mid February and extends to the end of September with all the usual hatches common to the Western lakes. From the Northern end the River Deel flows into the Lake, at the Southern end Lough Conn is connected to Lough Cullin by a narrow strech of water under the Pontoon Bridge. The water then flows from Lough Cullin to the World famous River Moy,because of this many Fly Anglers have had the oppurtunity of catching their first Salmon on the fly while in pursuit of our resident Brown Trout. Like all three of these Lakes, care should be taken in boating on Lough Conn as it measures 9 Miles by 4 Miles at it's widest point with an area of approx 14,000 Acres experience is required for an enjoyable day out.
